Working directly with the CEO of the company my role covered all areas of solution architect and international business development & E-commerce.

    Working for a specialist commercial mortgage lender, dedicated to serving the needs of mortgage brokers and intermediaries. In addition I was incharge of managing & supporting the of IT systems, email servers, app servers, network and remote/local control desktop support.

    Responsible for developing new partnerships, B2B, B2B2C and Service Provider markets throughout Europe, Asia, Middle East and some USA areas. Working from France and occasionally Germany and Russia my role covered the generation of sales leads, contract negotiation, client interaction and account management, presentations, identifying additional business opportunities and writing business & contract proposals.

    In this role I covered all aspects of new business and pre sales/Service delivery activity. I profiled and identified the key persons to contact within the business. In the new business development area I generated meetings and demos for large internet companies including Wanadoo/ Orange, AOL, Plusnet, BBC, T-Online (Deutsche Telekom) Tiscali, BTopenworld, Telecom Italia, Virgin.net Cegetel/9 telecom, Czech On Line, Eircom.

    As a solution architect I specialised in working in the Pre sales and Bid team selling Managed Services, Hosted ICT services with the addition of Software applications delivery. I chaired and operated the Opportunity Review Board (ORB) for the Senior Management Board. These customer contracts were valued at £200K – £10m per year. In addition to this role I was the transition manager for ICT transfer service for Hackney & Haringey Council.

    As Location Manager I managed this critical role by developing long-term customer partnerships, ensuring that the benefits of new systems were fully realised. In addition I managed teams of 1st, 2nd and third line support, call centre staff and third party suppliers. Also as a Location Manager I dealt with all aspects of contract day to day management, transition, implementation of up to 50 staff and profit and loss responsibilities for £10.5 million of contract.
